Electronic Solution Team Will Help Grimsby Small Companies With Electronic Transformation

The Community of Grimsby has announced that it has received a $15,980 grant from Electronic Main Street's Ontario Grants Program for a Electronic Solution Team (DSS), which will provide trained electronic experts to local small companies to assist them adopt online technologies and electronically change their sales, marketing and back-office procedures. The team will start visiting companies in the community on July 26, 2021.
"COVID-19 has brought many challenges to our Town's brick-and-mortar companies, so it's great to see that the Electronic Main Road program will once again be going to take advantage of new online and electronic devices to assist local entrepreneur advertise their products and solution and stay affordable within and past the COVID context," said Mayor Jordan. "The restored Electronic Main Road program will permit qualified Grimsby companies to shift their procedures through electronic transformation to better position themselves for success and long-lasting sustainability, particularly throughout these attempting times."
Restored federal government financing of the OPG will provide 3,000 Electronic Transformation Grants to qualified bricks-and-mortar small companies as well as Electronic Solution Team grants for companies to provide hands-on assistance to local small companies. The OPG is administrated by the Ontario BIA Organization, in collaboration with the Toronto Organization of BIAs (TABIA).
"Ontario small companies are the heart of our neighbourhoods and the financial structure of our neighborhoods," said Nina Tangri, Partner Priest of Small Business and Red Tape Decrease. "Our federal government is dedicated to existing for them as they resume. This additional support will give these companies the electronic boost they need to raise their account and reconstruct better compared to ever."
The foundation of Electronic Main Road, these squads consist of trained experts that consult with brick-and-mortar small companies at no charge to assist them complete an on the internet evaluation and present them to online educating components to develop their knowledge and abilities. These experts can also assist companies with developing their Electronic Transformation Plan (DTP) and requesting a single $2,500 grant to implement it. This one-on-one DSS assistance also consists of support for basic website set up, Msn and yahoo My Business accounts, 360ยบ pictures, social media presence, and a lot more. The DSS can also provide information on the ShopHERE program, if appropriate, to assist with electronic storefront set up and ecommerce. Where COVID-19 limitations are in position, DSS experts can provide support through telephone and video clip devices such as Zoom.
"In the previous 16 months, as small companies throughout the district combated to stay open up and maintain customers involved online, Electronic Solution Squads existed to assist," said Kay Matthews, Exec Supervisor of OBIAA. "Squads leapt online themselves throughout lockdowns to assist practically, and companies have regularly informed us how important the DSS were to their success through the pandemic. We are enjoyed support this DSS and help them provide assistance to much more small companies compared to ever."
